Our New Arrivals

Happy first day of spring! The sun is out and it’s beginning to warm up here in northern Colorado. Fossil Creek Nursery is excited to welcome in some new plants to our selection this season. These may be the perfect addition to make your yard pop!

Shrubs

Hydrangea fans rejoice! We have new hydrangeas in varying colors, the Invincible Mini Mauvette and the Invincible Wee White. These plants form a cluster of flowers on strong stems that will appear from the early summer through fall and do best in full sun.

The Pugster Butterflybush is very hardy and grows full size flowers. It will continue to bloom until the fall and requires low amounts of water. We have them available in amethyst, blue, pink, and periwinkle!pugster butterfly bush

Trees

Frank Jr, a Redpointe Maple, is a beautiful tree. Its leaves turn a vibrant red in the fall, the perfect way to add a striking color to your yard or business’ landscape. This tree thrives in Colorado soils and requires moderate water.

 

The Chimney Fire is another beautiful, colored tree. This oak is upright and columnar with dense foliage that remains bright red and glowing from the spring to the fall. It can grow to be 40’ in height and requires moderate water.
