Moisture Requirements:
Moderate Native to Atlas Mountains in northern Africa. Growing habit is loosely pyramidal when young, becoming more flat-topped with long spreading branches with age. Needles are silvery-blue, curved at the tip and appear in tufted clusters. Cylindrical cones are 3 inches long and green maturing to brown. Best grown in deep, well-drained, acidic soils in full sun. Drought tolerant once established.
